Very rude hostess left because of her wouldn't eat there now for nothing bought my friends from ky there cause I was told nice people good food boy was that wrong

Had the baby walleye plate. Very good and so much food. You will not leave hungry

Great stop for big bloody mary and some really great mozzarella sticks. Next time were in I will have to check out some more food :)

Great Fish Fry, Bloody Mary, and Cheese curds. Haven't had anything else yet but I'm sure everything is good here. Only problem is finding a parking space!

The food was greasy and generally good for the food type. The service was responsive. The small eating area was crowded on a Friday night. Overall I would probably try somewhere else next time because there was not much room for small children and greasy food doesn't appeal to me as much as it used to. However I would consider trying it again.

Great food, Friday fish fry is the best! Love the atmosphere. Can get pretty crowded, and I don't really care for the high tables with bar-stool seating (they have traditional tables too, but we always seem to be given the high ones).

They really shouldn't say curbside pickup is an option. Attempted to get curbside two different nights & both times was told they wouldn't do it.

Best burgers in Eagle River. All burgers are big 1/2 lbs enough to fill anyones belly

Great Friday night fish fry

Excellent food, friendly staff, always a must stop when in the area.

Their food is always awesome. Never had bad service as well. Huge and filling burgers, tasty fish, and strong adult drinks. Highly recommended.

Best fish fry! Good portions and reasonably priced - good price for what you get for sure. Walleye is my favorite. My family wasn't a fan of their drinks though. That's the only negative I have ever heard about the place.

Dam good fish on Friday nites

WOW!! I don't know what else to say! A group of us 5 went for a Friday night fish fry at 5:00 and it wasn't too busy. We got seated fairly quickly and were handed a double sided menu. Since we were there for the fish fry nobody even looked to see what else they offered.3 people ordered Cod while 2 of us ordered the baby walleye. I also ordered a cup of Clam Chowder which was amazing!! Once we got the food I was in total shock!! I have NEVER seen that much fish on one plate EVER!! You get 5 pieces of walleye plus the side dishes and for the price it's unbelievable. The flavor is amazing and the sad part is that you can't possibly finnish your dinner! I would have given it 5 stars if the service was better. As we continued our dinner it became obvious, this place has always been popular but if you don't get there early, you could wait for an hour for a table because it's such a small dining area. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT FOR ANYONE LOOKING FOR A REALLY GOOD FISH FRY!!👍

This place is great. I would recommend one of the burgers. I should definitely visit Honey Bear again next time I'm in town.

We had hamburger s which was great......our friends had the Reuben Sandwiches. ....and said they were great ....we will be back 👍

First time visitor; met friends who recommend it highly. Warm and inviting atmosphere. Had an awesomely tasty sandwich for lunch; my tablemates' meals looked very tempting also. Will definitely return soon!

Nice wooded view with a sliver of the river. Big burger menu. Lots of sandwiches, ribs, fried chicken and daily fish fry. Pleasant interior. Busy even on a Sunday night, 1-2 servers while we were there and they had to hustle but no complaints.

This place used to have the best fish fry in the area. It’s still good just not hands down the best anymore. Don’t get me wrong, It still is one of the top 10 fish fry’s in the country. Closes early and geared to the older crowd. The place closes its doors at 8 but by 7 they are gearing down. Good drinks (not the best), good food (again, not the best), good people (friendly before 7), just don’t go near closing time because these people clearly value their sleep. Definitely worth going if it’s early. We try to stop in once a month if we can. One thumbs up with a smile.

The cheese curds were the best that my husband and I have had in years. Glad I was told to come here for food. The Bloody Mary groceries were delicious too. Staff was very friendly.

Small and older setting restaurant. Weren't sure when we first walked in. But, the wait staff made sure we had everything we needed and the food was some of the best we have had. There burgers and Patty melt were AWESOME! Give the food a shot, well worth it.

Super cutely decorated and very clean restaurant. The beer is good and cold but the food is rather bland. Bloody Mary is huge and topped with all sorts of confetti (shrimp, cheese, onion...etc) but also bland. Guess being from the South we're just used to a bit more flavor.

After a day of tubing down the Wisconsin River we stopped here for dinner. I had a patty melt that was yummy. The chicken & dumpling soup was wonderful as well. The Asian(?) Salad was not ever exciting. I wouldn't order that. But foe the most part the food was good

Fantastic Fish Fry, huge burgers and great drinks. Bloody Marys and Old Fashions were spot on. Come early, they seem too close a little early.

Closed the kitchen well before closing time.

A quintessential North Woods stop! The Bloody Mary is a must. The walleye also. And while you're at it, try the appetizer sampler basket. We visited on a rainy day, otherwise we would have eaten outside on the deck.

Always a favorite when in Eagle River. Burger had tons of flavor and the bbq sauce was just right. Very friendly service.

Our Absolute favorite restaurant when visiting Eagle River. We go at least twice in a week. I have the fish and chips the first time and hamburger the second. Hubby gets double coleslaw instead of fries. It’s That good!

I believe this to be the best fish fry in the Eagle River area. As proof- don't plan to get seated without a decent wait- but if you like a good fish fry when enjoying the north woods- its worth the wait + plus they make a good old fashioned you can enjoy on their outdoor waterfront waiting area. The drink prices are very reasonable.

Honey Bear has the BEST fish fry ever. I love that you can order it any day of the week for lunch or dinner. Their Bloody Mary’s are also fantastic. This place is popular and small, so come early if you don’t want to wait. If you do have to wait, it’s totally worth it though.

Another really good Eagle River dining destination

Food is great, one of the best fish drys in the northwoods. We had a short 15 to 20 minute wait, but it was well worth it!
